1 exhibition. 1 sound piece. 11 visual works, an abandoned location staged for the occasion. On April 25, in memory of the Portuguese people, the exhibited works have been released to the world. With the active participation of Filipa Leite Rosa. Texts by Jérôme Manuguerra.
Morocco does not belong to itself.
Morocco does not belong to itself.
It takes your breath away, even as it extends it.
It exists in a gap, between what is and what might be.
Nothing there is quite complete, yet nothing gives way.
Something seeks to come to pass, without breaking free.
What is at stake here lies in the details, the gestures and the gaps.
What seems to contradict itself coexists, in a form that is neither stable nor fragile.
A perpetual motion, which sustains itself.
In this in-between, something flows through it and finds its rightness.
Each work in a limited edition. From any work, request its acquisition — the form arrives pre-filled.
